Architectural & Security Overview
Military-grade encrypted communicator engineered for uncompromising operational security. Features dynamic ephemeral X25519 ECDH forward-secrecy key exchange, AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption, multi-layer decoy vaults, ghost read receipts, zero-server retention, battery-optimized background push daemon, clock-grade loud alarms with native reboot recovery, and hardware-bound cryptographic RSA license activation.
Dynamic Ephemeral X25519 ECDH
Fresh forward-secrecy key pairs are generated for every conversation epoch. Old session keys are cryptographically rotated, ensuring historical messages cannot be decrypted even if a device key is compromised.
AES-256-GCM Authenticated Encryption
All message payloads, voice packets, and media chunks are sealed with 256-bit Galois/Counter Mode authenticated encryption, preventing both eavesdropping and ciphertext tampering.
Decentralized VPS Signaling & Zero Retention
Signaling is relayed over strict TLS/WSS with zero server-side storage. Transferred messages exist in RAM only and are wiped upon receipt. Offline messages are queued encrypted and self-destruct after 7 days.
Anti-Forensic Decoy Vaults
Enter an inverted PIN in the search box to unlock decoy storage or open your confidential Activity Vault. Built to withstand physical inspection and device forensic extraction.
Discreet Background Push Daemon
Custom 120s keepalive push daemon maintains standby connectivity without relying on invasive Google Play Services telemetry or FCM identifiers.
Hardware-Bound RSA Device Licensing
License keys are bound to your Android hardware keystore cryptographic signature. Zero account registration, zero email, zero phone number required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Ciphera require a phone number or email address?
No. Ciphera requires zero personal identifiers. You create a local username and PIN. Your identity is derived cryptographically from your device keys.
What happens if my phone is seized or examined?
Ciphera features anti-forensic decoy modes. Entering a decoy PIN reveals plausible dummy chats while keeping your genuine encrypted communications invisible inside the secure vault.
Can messages be intercepted on the server?
No. The server acts strictly as an encrypted pass-through relay. Because encryption keys are negotiated directly between endpoints using ECDH, the server sees only random binary ciphertext.
